After the tournament, check out the Lao New Year Festival at Wat Navaram, 2381 Narcissus Ave, Sanford, FL 32771. There will be authentic Laotian food, music, beauty pageant, and parade. The festival is a two day event (Sat 4/15, Sun 4/16) with the water festival and beauty pageant winner announced on Sunday, April 16th. The Lao New Year Festival is on the same day, but is a separate event from the golf tournament.
This will be a Major Tournament and points will be 1.5x the normal amount. This will also count as a Playoff Qualifier. Max number of players is 60.
Prizes:
* Two Competition Flights
- Championship Trophies for top finisher
- $$ prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
* Longest Drive (Hole 11)
* Closest to the Pin on all Par 3
** $20 Skins will be optional and separated by flight. Birdies or better, two or more skins on the same hole cancels the hole

Tournament Structure
Men's Tee Box = Blue/White Combo (White tee box on all Par 3 and Hole 11)
Seniors' & Ladies' Tee Box = White
- No mulligans, every stroke counts
- Play as it lie
- Max strokes for all holes will be par +5 (par 3 = 8,par 4 = 9, par 5 =10 max strokes per hole)
- Must finish all putt (no “close enough”)
- Winner is determined by Lowest Net Score
- Tie Break is determined by chip or putt off (based on what's allowed in practice area)
- USGA rules apply unless stated otherwise:
* One (1) stroke penalty for hazards (red markers)
* Two (2) stroke penalties for Out of Bounds (white markers)
* One (1) stroke penalties for lost balls. Balls lost near OB markers will be considered out of bound
* 3 minute rule is in effect - you have 3 minutes to locate your ball, else take the penalty
* Ball placement is allowed along the path of ball flight, not closer to the direction of the pin
* One club length relief for balls on hard surfaces and objects (e.g. concreate cart paths and rocks not in hazards), not closer to the direction of the pin
Points earned will be 1.5 x and are as follow:
75 points - 1st Place
45 points - 2nd Place
30 points - 3rd place
15 points - for all other places
